Dear Students

Today the role of a school is not only to pursue academic excellence but also to motivate and empower its students to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers and productive members of an ever changing global society. We are ready to set our foot in the 48th year of the existence of St.Thomas High School Mastkot.

At St.Thomas we provide an atmosphere to our students for multifaceted development, where they are encouraged to channelize their potential in the pursuit of excellence. We are striving hard to make the best possible efforts to inculcate strong values combing with academics and extra-curricular activities in the children. No wonder, a student harnessed in such an atmosphere has every hope and possibility of becoming a responsible, balanced and a mature adult and is able to live in to contribute and to shoulder responsibilities of the society of which he / she forms an integral part.

Children need a supportive environment at home as well as at school. This year we have the theme as “My School, My Second Home”.

It is rightly said that “ a dream becomes a goal when action is taken towards its achievements” and we are committed in taking constructive and purposeful action to produce optimistic , independent , compassionate , life –long learners and leaders who will bring glory to the their parents, school, state and the nation at large.

We also dedicate this coveted honour to all our students for displaying exceptional hard work in the pursuit of excellence by achieving excellent result in the board examination 2018-19. I take this golden opportunity to appreciate and congratulate our shining star Kamaljeet Kaur of class 10 for securing 96.15% in Board Examination along with all the students of class 10 for bringing honour to our Alma Matter St.Thomas High School. I too acknowledge the extreme hard work of our dedicated staff and faculty for working hard round the clock to keep our school at the zenith of success.

The parents are the most strengthening power in moulding the future of children. Their consistent support empowers us to do more and more. The journey that is laced beautifully with triumph would not have been possible without you dear parents.

I am confident enough that the Thomasians will make themselves stronger day by day, adding a new leaf to the grandeur of the school.
